There's very little of anything related to the BGE and cooking with one where the inspiration for my purchase did not originate from this forum. Not all the reviews match my own experiences, but when the overwhelming majority speaks positively about a particular product on here the batting average has been pretty darn good on my purchases.

That goes for recipes as well. I’ve learned a lot about cooking here.

@NDG -My money is on FedEx hosing it up.  What did the order tracking information  reveal at the time?

Probably right . . I called fed-ex many times & they pointed finger at SRF but logic didnt make any sense as package shows "out for delivery". Normally i woud be more agressive to find root cause, but I was on vaca so didnt want to waste hours on hold . .

Got it.  FedEx has hosed over several members  here.  Fortunately I have only had deliveries to the wrong house etc and nothing delayed.
When SRF changed shippers to FedEx from UPS after my second or third FedEx mistake I contacted SRF and requested that when the contract is up for renewal the they go back to UPS.   There's always hope.
I suspect SRF will make it right despite the FedEx issue.  Good luck!

@lousubcap well you were right - SRF offering me full refund OR new order shipped to my home address.  What a response!!!

i told SRF my story in an email, they contacted FedEx and got same answer (no idea why they didn’t deliver it) so really nothing SRF did wrong, just guilt by association.

Now that I got response I want, I don’t want to take advantage of them.  Lol.  Maybe I’ll ask for credit for future orders instead?

Also think I should share this with others by writing simple new post to showcase SRF stellar customer service?  It’s nice to support good companies that do the right thing.

@NDG - glad they came thru.  Your call on how to deal with the loss but make sure SRF knows of another customer who can't stand FedEx.
SRF is a great company.  Again your call on whether to start a new thread to give them credit but if it were me, I would and also slide in a slam on FedEx.  I have no affiliation with SRF but am a loyal customer who has only received first class service from them for several years.

BTW- a couple of years ago I started a thread bashing FedEx for one of their screw-ups.  The thread garnered two on-topic comments and in less than 90 minutes it was buffaloed.  Guess the buffalo had/has a vested interest in FedEx.

Before this forum, I didn’t know craft bbq rubs existed.  What started as a 7 rub pack from Dizzy Pig has turned into an entire cabinet dedicated to rubs.

Honestly, I have learned so much, and found so many new products, but the rubs were a big game changer for me.
