Tonight Chef was hard at work on the 36 inch Blackstone. She made some griddle styles street-corn and burgers for the family.

@SGH the bottle with our logo on it is a test batch from a co-packer who makes Harry Soo’s rubs. He’s actually local to us and willing to “help” with sales and shipping of our product. This first batch is almost exactly like what we’ve made a 100 times for comps. We call it Pig dust, but they’ve suggested we call it Pig Skin AP rub. It’s all a play on Ohio State Football.
Long story short she’s having a blast and wants to sell our rub. She’s getting 13k views on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/the_buckeye_bbq-302175830717140/
and 1200-2000 interactions on our Instagram. Not many followers yet but it’s lots of fun.

@mEGG_My_Day it’s a slow process, but I’m moving along. I’ve gotten stable enough to stop the use of a walker, which is a big win. I am now able to walk (200-250 feet) before I just can’t tolerate the pain in my legs, but that’s much better than the 50 we were at in May. I’m hoping at this pace, with the therapy team they have me working with, to be able to get back to life and work by October November. I still have the restrictions for no driving, as they believe I’m having seizures....when it rains it.... it’s a known rare side effect of one of the meds they have me on. It happens in less than1% of people. All in all I’m feeling happy, Norah and I are having a blast cooking and spending time on our project.
She tells me all the time she’s going to be the next big time Chef!!! The other night she told my wife she wants to challenge Bobby Flay to a cook off, real bbq. She “knows” she can take him. Have to love her drive and confidence, I figure if nothing else, she’s learning to be confident in herself, an area she’s struggled with.
