Hey all,
Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. Name is Garrett been around smoking about 10 years now with my wsm, but all my buddies chipped in on a LBGE as a wedding gift and I’m just getting it’s initial baptism going today. Started with 3 racks of baby backs, Pork Barrel All American rub. Stabilized the egg at 250-260, ribs on. Fighting to get temp back up from 210-220 now but I’m more inclined to let it do it’s thing vs fool with it. Going to finished the ribs unwrapped when they decide they are done with Lillie’s zero sugar Carolina style sauce and serve. Looking forward to the results tonight.

Welcome aboard and good luck. If the Egg was stabilized, don't try and mess with the settings. Give it time and it will come back to temp on its own. Make sure to post finished pics.

Decided to switch up during cook and foil because the ribs were getting a little too dark for my liking so foiled at the 2.5 hour mark.
Cooked in foil for 1.5 hours to tender them up. Pulled from foil and finished for 45 min with sauce.
Once the egg was dialed in it found its sweet spot between 260-285 and I am one happy camper when it comes to my new egg. Can’t wait to keep the new obsession rolling. Good cookin’.
