Mahogany Table Build -- Some Final Pics

For some reason the site was not letting me edit my original posts, so I am putting the pics up here.  The egg is not installed yet, but we finished the table last night.  It came out pretty nice.  You may not be able to notice, but there are no screw holes visible--was not easy to accomplish, but well worth the effort.  We celebrated the finished build with a drink appropriate for the moment...!  Happy 4th of July!

You might be joking, but I’d say it’d be worth every penny of $5k and people would likely pay it happily. Beautiful table.

Here is the final forever-home for my egg.  Something new -- I used some leftover mahogany and made a matching handle.  (the weed mat I have laid down will be covered up with some crushed stone at some point).  Now we are starting all over...building the twin to this table.  The frame is already done!

thats nice, make sure you get some sort of air gap under the egg before the paver.  you have created a heat sync just sitting it on the paver i would hate to see you ignite that amazing table.
