6th Annual ROCK RIVER VALLEY EGGFEST

Its that time again. Saturday June 15 will be the date for our small but fun Eggfest. 1910 E 4th st. Sterling IL. We will have 10-12 eggs going and usually a nice variety of cooks. If you are interested in cooking just let me know, I can accommodate. I would love to have a couple more cooks from the ranks here. If you are interested in good food and great company, definitely join us. We will have beverages of all types available. Bring a chair. Got a good jag of our eggs put together and ready. How to see you there.

Put together another egg this morning. Poised to be a good time. Got a few characters lined up as cooks which really helps. Weather next Saturday looks absolutely perfect as of now and hoping that holds true. Hope to see some of you there. Cheers!

Love to have ya. Looks like you put the hot box to good work yesterday. My niece and her husband live there in Indy. Maybe you all could carpool one time. My father gifted them a large in a cart for their wedding present. Not sure if their address without asking but I think she can walk to work if she wants at Deloitte downtown. He works at Cliff.

A little rain didn’t discourage anyone. Great turn out and some great food and beverages.

I didn’t come close to getting pics of everything. We had brisket, pulled pork tacos, cookies and brownies, poppers, Mac and cheese, bbq pizzas, sausages, chicken bombs, jerk chicken, tri tips, ribs and
much more

Thanks, Pete. Looks like Brandon and GlitterButt didn't make it over, but like they say rain or shine 2 or more makes a party! Wish I could have been there...maybe next year. BTW Happy Father's Day!

They didn’t make it. The cooks photo is missing a few scragglers. We had 11 eggs going and prolly a hundred attendees. It was quit good given the rain. Luckily the wind was not a factor.

It thinned out around 1-1:30. Which as you know can be a blessing. Then we can get to really enjoying ourselves 😜

@pgprescott Congrats on hosting and running the whole deal.  Looks like great groceries across the board and an enthusiastic crowd.  Way to bring it home, rain or shine.
