Always felt NAFTA was a screw job for USA.  A lot of my Utility equipment moved their plants to Mexico (ABB), so I quit buying from them.  Cost them a lot of my business, but I had good US manufacturers (Siemens) to fall back on.  Time to move a lot of the manufacturing back to US soil and let Mexico make tequila and grow avacado’s!

Yep. And unfortunately they bought the American company that I use to work for. Westinghouse.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

Yes that’s true.  They bought Westinghouse, but all the circuit breakers I purchased were built in Jackson, Mississippi. I actually toured the factory, and didn’t see any Mexican workers!

Wasn’t that just a bit south of Jackson on US 49?

I hear you but drive around Appalachia and let me know how many engineers and bankers you see jumping out of the bushes.

Cruise around Ohio and look at all the small towns with empty factories,  it is almost impossible to imagine these communities were once thriving.

    South of Columbus, Ohio.
