Question - Mixing pork shoulder w/pork belly?

in Pork
Curious if anyone has tried to mix/chop smoked pork belly in with their pulled shoulder? Was it good? Worth it? After reading Sam Jones’ new book, it got me curious to try and incorporate different pork cuts into the pulled pork - since a whole hog pit in the back yard isn’t an option. Thanks.

Why the heck not? I’d hit it!

I have a friend who will only do it that way. Says the leftovers are even better as well.

I've done it when doing it whole , but not individually though the results would be great I'm sure just the same
There are a lot of great body parts that can be bought individually cheaper than belley and add a great texture contrastVisalia, Ca @lkapigian -
@westernbbq lol you’ll have that
@lkapigian Perfect. I was thinking two 8lb shoulder roasts to cut the richness of one (Costco) pork belly.
I’ll have to report back when I try it. I was just curious if anyone had ever tried and if they liked the results...Madison WI
