1,200 watts, claims to heat 100 liters of water - sounds like a serious piece of kit. Might have to buy it (for the business of course) and give it a test. I could see using it to SV a bunch of chicken breasts or steaks at a catering gig - and then throw them on the chargrill for a quick sear. List price of $399 - half the price of the PolyScience unit that is only rated for 30 liters.
