Lowe’s had two locations in the Flint area and decided to close both last year.  Screw Lowe’s.  For bIg box home improvement stores, it’s Home Depot or Menards for us.

My buddy and I stopped into a strip mall the other day to grab some Chipotle for lunch. There is a Subway next door. As we got back in the car to leave another car pulled in next to us. Out popped a younger couple with a pit bull puppy. They just casually walked in the Subway with the dog. Bottom line is that most people don't give a S about other people nowadays. Ya that's what I want to see in the place I'm eating my sandwich. A freakin puppy dropping a deuce. Everytime I see someone with what is clearly NOT a service dog strolling in a retail or food establishment I just shake my head and walk away. Otherwise I might say something "offensive" like calling them a dumb@ss. Service Dogs are A OK with me. But not Nanna with her ugly (INSERT DOG BREED HERE) with the knit sweater.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

I guess a three year old newspaper article must have popped up and making the rounds again on someone's Facebook page. :)

I know Home Depot also has special programs/incentives and goes to great lengths to hire veterans so I fail to see how the two chains are really different in that regard.

When my dog was being trained to be a therapy dog one of the training locations was Lowe’s.  She is a therapy dog, not a service animal, so she is just trained to give comfort and make folks happy.  Lowe’s provides a great public service for allowing training at their facility here. One of thing things that really annoys me are people who buy the fake service vests off the Internet and take their untrained dogs wherever.  It is especially annoying when you actually see the time and effort to get these animals trained and tested (well over a year in our case)

And good for Lowe’s hiring the Vet and his dog!!

Cool story, but the employees at Lowe's are so unprofessional, lazy, and clueless.  (Chicago metropolitan stores).  Cant stand shopping there

Must be a Chicago thing. Lowe’s employees (multiple stores) have consistently outperformed HD’s here, and when we lived in Iowa

@YukonRon there is a sign on the door that says no dogs. It’s  obvious from this thread that plenty of people agree they don’t want dogs there so why do these people bring their dogs?

Kids on leashes, dogs run free. I have seen a lot more problems with kids than dogs. well behaved dogs are more common than well behaved kids, and I blame the parents.

Sometimes I glug a tablespoon or so of this in my dog’s breakfast when his skin and coat looks dry and he’s anxious to be seen in public.
    Love you bro!

The lady in the paint department “I love to give doggy massages”.

It is a hardware store!  Most good hardware stores have a cat laying on the counter or old dog sleeping in the corner.

I assume the circle/dog sign is intended for liability.

She should be fired for not doing her job and asking you to take the dog outside. Why do people feel the need to take their dogs shopping with them? So much entitlement.

Yeah look at all the stories you see about children biting people. Seems like a huge problem.

Perhaps people who bring dogs into hardware stores are not the issue...?

Maybe all of us with kids should leave them in the crate at home at least according to some of these yahoos...
