Cant figure out how to post pics. No Pics, didn't happen. Might as well be a lurker.

Okay, not sure what qualifies as a “non-lurker” now. Did some Franklin turkey breast last week. Please ignore the clothes on the counter pic, I’m a bachelor and no one yells at me....

The combination of bge + griddle is wonderful... made brisket sliders with the brisket on the griddle and American cheese on king Hawaiian rolls. Unfortunately no pics other than the above but they were awesome... plus I cut and split my own cherry for smoke 😲😲😲

After seeing all these awesome cooks I am thinking we should have @thetrim host a lurker VS poster throwdown

Lurker for about 7 years now. Officially registered a user name in 2017. This is my very first post. I would post more often but just can't seem to find the time. I enjoy the information and am always looking for new ideas.
Here's a little more about me....
I bought my first BGE in 2012 and since that time have been hooked. I was so concerned about screwing my first smokes up that I started lurking here and looking for tips. With the assistance and guidance from many members of this forum through the years - and some creative experiments of my own, I can honestly say that I've never experienced a bad cook.
My wife and I are both KCBS-certified judges but we seldom judge anymore due to time constraints due to work and family matters. However, this year, I was fortunate enough to be invited by a competition team to join them in this year's American Royal coming up in September. I'm both honored and humbled by their invitation. I look to this forum as my primary source of inspiration and I'm sorry that I waited this long to post.

Picked up my XL a year ago and have lurked ever since. Have picked up some great tips from most of you and have been talked off the ledge a time or two. Here are some pics of some of the damage

This is a cool thread.
Welcome to the new and newish lurkers.

You are correct, but this competition date was dropped on me since then and I hate it but that’s how it goes. Believe me, I am disappointed, but I’ll live to fight another day!

I'm much more of a lurker these days too. I was somewhat active when I first joined and I don't mind asking for help. And, I received a lot of help. Now, I don't smoke as much as I did due to weather and health issues, but when I do, always come here first. I've learned a good deal from you all and I'm thankful. I just am not good enough to give much advice, so I "lurk" and learn! Thanks for all the knowledge share. Steve
