Need advice for smoking/seasoning meat for tacos

favorite taco here is shrimp with avacado, pickled red cabbage and sriracha/adobo chili/honey/crema sauce. one ive seen lately was a korean beef taco with kimchi, that might be this weekends cook you didnt say anything about it being mexican

To me tacos are all about the salsas and the advantage of not having too much sauce on the meat is people can decide how much and how hot they want themselves.
Did this recipe recently and it was fantastic... wouldnt take much to convert it from fry and oven to a reverse sear in the egg plus some smoke.

Kind of subjective as to what you like- In my mexican foods there are musts , salt pepper garlic cumin cilantro onion and lime

If you want beef and you don't want it sliced but shredded, try chuck roast and make some pulled beef tacos. Plenty of recipes on here if that's something you might be interested in. Now you got me wanting tacos.
