Considering their gassers are $25k+ I wouldn't be shocked at any price they throw out that's completely unjustifiable.  Their target audience is the Hollywood Hills, nothing more.

I'm interested to see this and the RTIC square kamado.

Love kamados, hate that they are round.

I’m excited to see these as well.  I’m starting to think the primo shape might be better

"These are pricey grills made with heavy-duty materials (this grill is 200 pounds)."
Kinda funny they think a 200 pound kamado is somewhat heavy.
Hard to tell just how wide this grill is but I'm betting that a 32" Komodo Kamado Big Bad will be larger and probably half the price.
Do like the look tho. Will be interesting to see others enter the "kamado" market with rectangular metal insulated shell grills/cookers - like @stlcharcoal, I'm not a real fan of round grills.

  • Kind of looks like the trash compactor bins they have in the ATL airport.  Hard pass for me, obviously.

I live twenty miles from Kalamazoo and I work in the OR for surgeons who have afforded them, which is the only reason I've ever cooked on their products. I have cooked on them may times, they are good at best. This thing is a joke for rich people that want something that matches their overpriced grill, that they also can't make a decent burger on.

This is only my opinion. Based on the above listed data.

But it’s  “handbuilt in Michigan”.  I could easily fabricate a similar design in my shop.  And insulate it with 2” ceramic kiln blanket material (2400 deg), for around $400 in stainless.

Meaning labor cost’s are high in Michigan?

But it would still look like a portable dishwasher.
