As a kid in the 60s I remember getting a kick out of the sheer silliness of The Monkees TV show. I liked the music too.

I like this one, but just noticed Michael introduced the song wrong. Still, Peter wins the attention of the girl in this video, instead of Davy. Fitting for today.

I remember holding the left rabbit ear, with my right leg up at 60 degrees, so Grandma could watch.  
The Monkees were fun!  Wouldn't mind seeing all the episodes, one more time (I just found out that the "Jonny Quest" episodes are on EweTube, will be hitting those first)

Monkeys were more influential than most folks know.  Tori played the stooge.  He was an accomplished musician.
