That's good news, but things have taken a terrible downturn at the NE nest.  Juliet has disappeared, and now with two eggs about to hatch, Romeo is trying to cope on his own. A younger female has appeared on the scene, so it will be interesting to see what happens... http://www.eagles.org/Cams/FloridaNest.html

The male (Ozzie) was killed in 2015 and a younger male took its place. The female (Harriet) and her new mate have had two eggs every year since only one of which was not viable, I believe their first mating.
@Ikapigian - we check the nest at least twice a day waiting for the new brood. A 360 degree camera was added recently. Watching the adult and young birds is more entertaining than most of the shows on cable TV. Edit- removed typo.

One egg hatched and saw it being fed some fish bits. Other one should hatch soon.
