Greetings friends!

amazon dealio Del day-o is the insta pot 8qt 9 in 1 for $90 shipped. I have the 10 in 1 under the tree for brandi right now, for $170. I’m switching it out on  the sly. ;)

https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-Plus-Programmable-Sterilizer/dp/B075CWJ3T8?pf_rd_s=blackjack-personal-1&pf_rd_t=Gateway&pf_rd_i=mobile&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=EY4PWYWNKNDFBFEDGBVH&pf_rd_p=1e96e406-46de-4c20-aa98-dd6354ee5866&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ref_=gwm_dotd_p

I tried and tried to see the difference and where the extra feature was. Maybe the control knob?

Anyway. Merry Christmas y’all.

I think the model with the knob is the Ultra. That one has an  SV mode, where you can custom set it to a temp and  hold it.

Doesn't seem to be much difference between the Duo and the Ultra, but some folks prefer the knob on the Ultra vs. pressing a button several times on the Duo .

Like who wants to push buttons. Who has that much time?

you probably hated people with a Zero in their number when dialing a Rotary Phone  =)

  • The Ultra has a knob but I've heard that adjusting times etc with it is a pain in the butt.

  • Push button will be fine for $100 less. Plus I think it’ll get less gummed up, even though I got the four  year extended warranty.

Trivia: That's why NYC's original (and only) Area Code was 212, Chicago's was 312, LA's was 213 and Dallas was 214. They got the most calls and everyone had rotary phones so the designers of the NPA (Number Plan Area or "Area Code") system set it up to speed things along. The NPAs with 9s and 0s in them got the fewest calls so it mattered less that the 0 took longer to dial. The original NPA for Tennessee was 901! At least it wasn't 909! With touch tone, it doesn't matter. With rotary, it did.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

The dial is a PIA on the ultra.

The Ultra was $85 a few weeks ago. For $100 difference, I would have gone with the Duo.

@Aviator - I've only had the Ultra for 2 weeks, so haven't had time to hate the dial/knob yet.  What's your beef with it?

You don’t want to be from the 909 area code for other reasons as well.
