Brisket too big?

I got a whole packet brisket this week and didn’t even think to measure to make sure it would fit in my large egg. After putting the salt and pepper on, I realized my error. It’s about 4 inches too big for the egg, so I was forced to slice off a decent hunk.
is there anything i can do with this now that it’s already been seasoned and trimmed or am I just going to have to pitch a 5-10 dollars worth of brisket?

I assume the cut off piece is from the flat - I’d save it and cook it like a short rib.
Next time drape the brisket over a rib rack to make it fit. When it shrinks enough during the cook, remove the rib rack.Memphis, TN

Hopefully you cut of the thinner end of the flat. Burgers, yes. Chili, yes. Hope it comes out stellar! Chris

Appreciate the ideas guys. So does it matter that it’s already been dry brined? Should i just grind it up tomorrow AM and freeze it until I make a batch of chili or burgers? Was worried that the salt would prevent me from being able to save it since it’s been dry brined already
