I saw a movie from the 70's recently, and one of the characters asked someone what was the thing on a table. The other character said  "that is a facsimile machine, it can send an entire page of information across the country in only 19 minutes!!!"

The two Presidents in recent times that have been the most respected for the men they are, served only one term each.

  • I learned that republican presidents don’t become smart or kind or have any other redeeming qualities worth talking about until they die.  Then they become great.  I suppose the media thinks they’re great because they’re dead, but I don’t know that for sure.   Well, ok.  I knew all this from Reagan’s funeral.

I learned that some Presidents are such aholes, people end up praising them when they don't end up making a scene at a funeral.

    3 Things.

    1. You can put black lines on a piece of paper and folks will read into it what they want based on their personal bias.

    2. Apparently, in Wisconsin, the newly elected governor should be allowed to take office immediatly after the election or some serious bullsh!t will occur.

    3. I really enjoy the act of shining my own shoes. Knocked out 2 pair tonight.

Saw an interesting documentary film a few months ago about professional shoe shiners around the world. Worth a watch even if you just wear flip flops but like a good documentary.
