Gunpowder tenderloin, salt roasted sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus

reverse seared a beef tenderloin with gunpowder rub gifted to me by @YukonRon that stuff is legit.
Roasted sweet potatoes in a bed of salt with rosemary, oregano and garlic. The premise is the salt absorbs moisture from the potatoes and the potatoes take on the herbs. Seems like a waste of sale and herbs to me. The only good part was using the roasted garlic in the butter.
Finally, grilled asparagus on the max. EVOO, salt and pepper. A “quick and easy” hollandaise that brought nothing to the table.
Good meal overall. Lessons learned. No salt roasting necessary and put the extra 10 minutes into your hollandaise.

Nice man! It’s fun experimenting, even when it doesn’t turn out as expected. Looks delicious.
