In my own humble opinion, there is nothing more fun than a brisket cook.
Hope yours is just as fun and turns out to your satisfaction.

I've never considered using Cow Lick on a brisky. Probably because I've been unsure how the extra kick would translate on the finished product.
Looking forward to the results

I don't know if fun is the right word. More like suspenseful. Definitely a waiting game.YukonRon said:In my own humble opinion, there is nothing more fun than a brisket cook.

Here it is when I brought it inside at 10 this morning. Put it on at 6 last night. Held temp really well between 225 and 250 through the night.

I came down about 4:30 a.m. and it was at 169. Wrapped in paper at that point. Let it finish and then wrapped in foil and a towel and put it in cooler for a few hours.

taste was great but flat was a little dry. The rest of it as I was cutting it up was fantastic! I did get a little pimp from my wife and mother who noticed a little kick from the Cow Lick. I loved it but will probably tame it down next Brisket. I- Bettendorf, Ia with lots of time in Chattanooga, Tn. Nice work! I’m with you, a little kick on beef is nice.
