Dead at 75. I’ve seen him many times over the last 35-40 years. In all honesty I think he only reached his highest level of artistry in the last 10 years or less. It seemed that he was only now accepting of the fact that he was a very talented artist. Perhaps that came from spending most of his life as an opening act. RIP dude.
