i am looking for recommendations on a place to stay in New Orleans. My wife and I are landing in New Orleans and driving to Florida and back to stay in New Orleans for only 1 night, I know it is not enough but it is what is. we like to have a good time but not looking to party all night just some of the night. We are looking for any help or recommendations.

If you are a Hyatt guy The Eliza Jane is unbelievable. CBD Location within walking distance of the casino, Mothers, Seriös poboys, the Quarter.  I stayed there a. I hole weeks ago and lived it.  Cochon is also a short walk away.

If you’re old enough to appreciate classic jazz in a great bar check out Hotel Monteleone. Lots of great spots in the Quarter.

Stay at the Westin. Across Canal from Harrah’s, above the Shops at Canal Place (mall).

Le Richelieu-- reasonable price, well-maintained, and in a quiet part of the French Quarter (more residential, and closer to the Esplanade side, yet still a quick walk to Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, etc.)
