Yes, but a cheap dog bowl does EXACTLY the same job as a $50 dog bowl.
I disagree somewhat. Back when I had a dog, I bought some nice stainless bowls. The bottom was so thick that you could use a mallet to knock out the ice. A few hard swings on the bottom would do the trick. The $10 stainless bowls couldn’t stand the abuse. Also, the heavy bottomed bowls didn’t tip over. They were well worth the $30 each I paid 17 years ago.
Ours are only used indoors, so no ice issue. The first pair are 12 years old, the second pair this year as we now have 2 dogs.

  • I don’t have a dog. Do I qualify if I simply eat fruit loops out of one of these?

That good dog right there more than earns his keep. Give 'em anything he wants by all means! Mine only lick their a-holes then my kids faces. No Yeti ice cream bowls for them.

That looks exactly like my Yeti bedpan for when I'm to lazy to get out of bed and I need to release a grumpy.

Right, but as they say, funerals are for the living not the dead.

Maybe a macabre analogy, but true.  Just like we dress up our toddlers.

I have to ask, since they aren't insulated, other than saying YETI on the side, what do they do that the others don't? Looks like they aren't even shaped to keep the ants out of the bowl.

There's a shape that keeps ants out?

When are the Yeti insulated a$$ warmers coming out? Every Hunter imaginable will be lining up to pay $149 per cheek or $299 for the pair. You all know its coming soon.

Does using non-slip newspaper make me more frugal than @fishlessman?

they should make the yeti water bowl with  phillips hue lighting,  put an arrival sensor on the dog that changes the lighting color when he is in the kitchen and another sensor that notifies your phone when the bowl needs fresh water or maybe alexa could just fill the bowl
