A couple years ago, my next door neighbor owned a Traeger, that had been manufactured in China.

They have since changed, by bringing back the manufacturing to the USA. From what I have seen, they appear to be far superior.

I repaired the neighbor's old traeger several times, mostly due to the feeder jamming up with pellets especially in humid weather.
He finally quit cooking with it, because it was spending more time in my garage getting worked on than he used it. He bought a BGE, and sold the Traeger.

The newer ones are legit. Just have an AC outlet close by or rig something up.

Honestly, I’ve seen a lot of really good looking food come off of pellet smokers on Instagram lately and I’ve considered picking one up.  @MeatChurch uses one and it looks incredible.  I haven’t figured out a way to sell it to the wife yet though.
She is getting new bedroom furniture. That’s how I sold it.
    Good one, happy wife....happy life!!
