@saluki2007 is definitely living large.  I was actually cruising around the SRF site late last night and talked myself off a ledge but nothing near the one he landed on.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

@The_Stache Got my new camping chairs today. Like the Kermit chairs, but made over in Ulster. Nice guys, do it as a hobby. They even had some orange material to match my camper.

Did you have to approach that colour choice carefully, given their location?
I never think twice about orange, except when buying a motorbike.
So I Googled it, Easyjet Orange has its own pantone, Ulster orange doesn't - but there's no shortage of images. =)
Not that kind of orange from Ulster.

    Yo, Audiophiles!

Looking for a small room audio system that allows for speaker separation. Book shelf system basically and I have been keenly interested in a system from Denon, specifically the DM 41:

I am curious as to any input others may have regarding this system or a system of similar dimensions with equal to or higher quality sound. System is about $500.00 total, however, not worried about paying more if the delta proves worthy.
Edit: this system is on close out currently so the price is dropping.
    Thank you in advance.

Looks like a decent system, Ron.  Add a powered subwoofer and you'll free up the system to concentrate on clean sound at higher volume levels - I checked for a sub out and it does have one RCA sub out.

Refurbed, but cheap!  I'd buy it.

Hey thank you for the response.

The only drawback that I have noticed is the lack of HDMI ports, but......that system, at that price, is still a bargain, I think.

    With BT, who cares, right?

Score a couple for the good guys. I picked up the red band Kitchenaid mixer for free yesterday on Craigslist. The lady said the motor was getting weak at certain times. I'm hoping it's just the brushes going out.

I donated a few things over at Goodwill this evening. I did a quick walk through hoping I didn't find anything to drag home. An employee came out with a cart with donated items from the back room. I strolled over to take a peek to see what was in the bins on the cart. Low and behold I see a Kitchenaid mixer for $39.99! I than remembered Goodwill gave me a coupon when donating my items from earlier. I look at the coupon and it's 50% off one item. Sweet! I couldn't pass it up for $19.99

and here like a sucker I paid full price cause SWMBO wanted a Cobalt Blue one.....

Good to hear. Reviews seemed mixed, but really no more than other machines, so went with it.

This arrived this morning. Not really for me as I don't bake, but Anne makes a lot of sourdough bread. I 'might' end up with a meat grinder attachment.

Watch out - my grinding a brisket is what did my wife’s Kitchen Aid in (albeit it was at least a decade old). I ensured to replace it promptly!

It’s a show on Amazon Prime. Starting the second season.  It’s actually free on the Paramount network if you have it. Google it....the first season was outstanding. Won lots of awards. Beautiful scenery also.
