can you deep fry in parchment
I have never attempted to deep fry anything in paper. Never saw the need myself. With that said, I remember seeing my grandmother “pan” fry bacon in a skillet on parchment paper. I never asked why she done it nor do I know why she done it. But I definitely saw her do it many times.

just something from the past, i havent seen it since i was a kid. some was in paper other places in foil. the meat didnt deep fry but it cooked fast. im going to try the parchment and the foil.  my neighbors chinese and had a chinese restaurant before he found out seafood was more profitable, they had never seen it.  looks easy, fold and envelope, fill it, tuck the triangle flap in, deepfry.
