All those pretty pictures but didn’t share the recipe?
That lather is a 50/50 mix of Taylor Of Old Bond Street cream and Tabac soap. About as simple of a superlather as it gets.

The time is the killer for me as well.  By time I jump in the shower at 10p to 12a, I’m beat a lot of times and just want a quick shave.  I still use my DE, I just use a shave gel in the shower because it holds on my face better in the humidity.  Weekends and date nights get the full shave routine for a clean look and usually the most time I get to spend with my wife.  Like your brush lineup, I’m afraid to buy a really nice one that I’ll start a new bad habit, already have egging and woodworking.
@FarmingPhD, Time doesn't matter to me in the usual sense. I'm retired and can spend as long as I want shaving. 'As long as I want' is normally about 2 minutes! =)

That said, this afternoon, I got out the Kent BK8 (the large faux-ivory handled brush in my earlier pic), a puck of @SGH's Tabac soap, my vintage Gillette adjustable razor and a fresh Feather blade. Only one minor nick (been a few years and I'm rusty) and no razor burn. Pretty smooth, but not as good as with an M3.

As for the brushes, tread lightly! They can get expensive and the slope is real slippery!!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
