Carrier vs. Carten for mini?

I need to move my mini across my deck for each use, and I'd like to  occasionally take it camping. Any recommendations for either of these options?  Sources? Prices?
Thanks!

I'm not sure the Carten is even made anymore. Ping @Focker for his homemade wooden carrier I have seen him using at Eggfests.

I don't think the Carten guy still makes them. Might find a used one on here though.

Before my mini was destroyed, I just gave it a bear hug and moved it wherever. I replaced it with an Akorn Jr which has handles. When I take it in the car, I set it in a box (to avoid grease/soot) in the back seat.

If I HAD to have handles, I'd just buy the BGE handle kit (assuming there IS a retrofit handle kit).

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Anyone know the going rate on a Egg Carten? I have #84 that needs a new home. Can’t remembered what I paid for it.

Two years ago, Mini cartens were $140 according to THIS. I have always thought they were way overpriced.

BGE makes a carrier for the mini. Just like the mini max style. I have one and it works well.

Haven't seen Focker around much these days, Ron.   I think he's still trying to convince the local authorities that his sister is being cyber-stalked here.

I gave my Carten to Village Idot. Now have nest and works just fine. Take it to FL from Texas all the time.

How much is the BGE carrier for the mini? No prices online and don't have a BGE dealer I go to often.

    I think around $70.

i still use Mickeys $15-20 rolling ice chest, the stand I bought with it and roll that way.
the rolling cooler can hold a towel, gloves, propane, Tongs  the mini egg and stand .

    Thanks @Mickey
