Seasoning it as I type this. Just going by Blackstone seasoning directions, anything else I need to know?

You asked about seasoning. Avoid flaxseed oil. After cooking each time, clean and oil - don't leave for next time or it can flake on you.

1 round of seasoning then go pick up a few packs of bacon and cook them up. Get a rag and get that bacon grease evenly coated.

It will be pristine in no time. Congrats!

Solid advice. I just got one as well and was getting ready to ask the same question. @jabam what’s your first cook going to be after it’s seasoned?

I actually cooked breakfast on it this morning.
No pics, but I cooked pancakes and scrambled eggs, with hash browns and an omelette for myself, came out pretty good for
the first go at it. Also learned no need to cook on high, turns it down to medium and worked like a charm
