    Some high(bad) scores by some good players right now.
    Can only watch the leader board scores. Is the weather a factor or just a tough start? Was looking good for Kuchar at -2 but now back to even par.

    Its super windy.  Poor guys.  They should come out here and play in west Texas.  I don't know how to play if the wind isn't blowing.

    Conditions are tough with the wind and it’s suppose to get worse this afternoon.  Pretty humbling when a pro is 10 over halfway through round one.  

    Thinking pizzas or a brisket this weekend.  Or both.

    My wife has a disdain for him for off course actions.  She also isn't much into golf but I agree with you, there a very few athletes that change the entire sport in which they play.  I'd bet if you ask any tour pro under the age of 30 what pro they wanted to be growing up, 9/10 would say Tiger.

    I always have to pull for lefty.  we are having some friends over sunday for Wings, Brats, buffalo dip and scotch eggs plus whatever they bring. should be a nice weekend, here is to hoping lefty completes the career grand slam this weekend.

    i went with Rose, fowler and Day in my pick league.  2 of 3 are in good position.  

    I do have to say that fox's graphics seem to be pretty good.  Most everyone likes the shot tracking and I personally like the distance to the flag or bunker/landing area being shown.  

    Pretty cool that the NHL ref who qualified for this only shot 2 shots worse then Rory and 3 worse then DAy.

    Honestly my pick going in was Day.  Just thought he'd really put it together this year.  Ouch after day 1 with a 79.  I do have 6 Draft Kings teams and a couple of them are looking good though.  DJ and Fowler are the keys to both.

    Lots of golf left and that course is brutal.

    I've always said I want to play as good as Tiger, and now- I'm almost there! Within 10 anyway.

    Joking  aside - I'd love for him to win another major.  I played golf in high school in the early 90s (90/91), not a popular sport then.   He was one of the once in a lifetime game changers for the sport. The level of competition now is great, but no super stars, just a hot player that week.  I wanted  Jordan to be that guy.. He's great, but in the pack not leading the pack.  Dustin is great, but more of the same.

    I think stewart was gonna be the guy. Plus he wore some cool clothes. Damn airplane.

    agreed, a lot of young guns but only people who really watch golf know of the young guys for the most part.  Tiger brought in the casual fan and made fans of people who didn't like the game at all.  And he more or less created an entire business line for Nike.
