OT - Pontoon Cleaner - OT

Anyone have any experience with or recommends a pontoon cleaner to clean and polish?

Hit up a truck stop and grab some aluminum tank cleaner. Truckers use it on their fuel tanks. Usually In a pump bottle. Duragloss used to make a killer aluminum polish/cleaner but they discontinued it.

Looks like the duragloss product is available again. If I remember right, EPA shut it down or made them "re-formulate". Not sure if it is still a superior product

The Cen-Tex Smoker

Just did a major pontoon cleanup. Toonbrite is great but it’s basically expensive 15% HCL with some cleaner and foamer built in. Use Muriatic acid from the pool store or hardware store and dilute it to 15% with water. Worked like a champ and got all the scale off in a couple of treatments

I use aluminex for touch up. But I’m with Centex. 

Muratic Acid will make make that beast pop. 

Just dont do it in the marina. It has an adverse affect with water critters
