@caliking I had plans to spatchcock a chicken but SWMBO got out pieces instead. Plus it seemed like a ladder burning sort of evening.

I'm guessing ash wood for the smoke/ladder.  Tough to let a fire burn over a fire rig and not be messing about with protein.  But it is Monday-
At the current rate you may be sleep deprived by Tuesday AM.

Only in states where burning trash and collecting rusty cars on the lawn is acceptable and normal.

Hopefully this craze doesn't catch on, I like my ladders.

Now,  if bra burning became a thing again ... that's a trend I wouldn't object to.

Man...that ladder would sell for big bucks in this area. Some rich idiot would hang it in their 6000 square foot loft as an art piece.

Sad but so true. Kinda like how "Shiplap" which used to be a cheap way to straighten up walls and keep everything square as well as to attach siding is now a trendy way to decorate your house and people pay thousands for it.
