Good luck...  Thanks in advance for the update later today.  I may pick up a sixer on the way home to enjoy while going thru tonight’s thread.
LOL......So this is how it went.

    • I get there 10 minutes before my prescribed time. The nurse i had spoke with to set up my appointment apparently did not log it into the schedule. It sent the old lady working the desk into a mild tizzy. She got it together and sent me to sit for a wait. Wait I did.
    • My quick look see turned into a two hour visit. So long in fact....I used up my entire phone battery on solitaire, Egghead forum and well a work email or two. Finally a call back and more waiting.
    • The nurse comes in and takes my vitals (I am gonna live she says). When  she is walking out the door she says, "do you just want to pull your shorts down when the doctor comes in?" of course many responses flashed through my head....but i played it with.... I really don't feel the need to pull them down while I wait. I also asked what other options she saw as potential as i was a bit stumped. She said she could give me one of those backless gowns i could wear if I wanted. I declined but my confidence level increased as i found that to be an acceptable response.
    • Doctor comes in and takes a quick peek. He gave it a good squeeze and it generated some blood. Of course he them ask me if i was having any pain. Seems to me he, his nurse and I are on a different mindset. I said hell yeah that hurt.
    • He said no puss was visible (good thing) and said that i should continue with my antibiotics. I didn't tell him i hadn't taken my morning dose....and came home and took it.
    • If it doesn't clear up in 10 days (he says), i will need to get back in touch with him and we will need to dig deeper into it. He felt the chances of that happening was small though.
Well I would hate for this to linger as I would need to work on the title of my third post on this subject. I guess the rest, rest of the story.

See you all at the Eggfest this weekend. I'll be a wearing a green shirt.
