There have been articles about the hazards of grilled and smoked foods out for many years. As Billy Joel says, "I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints".

As in all things......moderation is the key.

What about those of us who use our eggs multiple times a week? Are we going to die very shortly? Me thinks not.

As you note, I can't get to the article but we all know how this ride is gonna end-just not when.  Life would truly suck if everyone eliminated everything that may negatively impact their longevity.
I think there is a tremendous personal upside to cooking over fire and sharing the outcome with family and friends.  That alone off-sets any recent research downsides.

Could be a great Friday primer if I wasn't so healthy!

Yep.  I think Megan McCain said something to that effect today.

I cannot agree enough with this statement @Botch

Human lifespan continues to increase. Bound to be bacon.

This is a provable fact.  I eat a lot of bacon and I continue to get older.  All the people I knew that died, they don't eat bacon anymore.

Bwahahaha. I’ll be 70 next year and have been eating flame kissed proteins since I got off the teat. Catch me if you can.
