Just received an e-mail from Matador Meat & Wine in Plano, Texas, that in two weeks they will be carrying Snake River Farms Wagyu beef!  Cant' imagine how much that will cost me!

Large BGE, 2 Tier Adjustable Swing Rack System, three (3) bricks from Home Depot for raised direct, Blackstone 22" Griddle - Finally have a decent cooking area!

    The retail stuff is not as bad as you would think. I’ve seen it less than buying direct.

    Better to be lucky than good any day.  Recently visited a restaurant here (I did not recommend nor discount but not my selection).  Upon perusing the show meat-locker they were touting SRF beef.  Had quite an entertaining conversation. The clueless factor was evident within less than 15 seconds.
    I would give about anything (and would have to if it happened) for a local SRF source although I have always been quite pleased with their shipments and exceptional customer service.   FWIW- 
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    There is another great butcher shop in the north Dallas area named  Deep Cuts. It is at Coit and Beltline.  They carry Ranch 44 and HeartBrand beef https://heartbrandbeef.com/ .  They also have Berkshire pork and free range chickens.
