Brined turbo butt

I’ve been wanting to try a brined butt for a while so I gave it a shot today. I used Alton Browns recipe and cooked hot and fast. She’s wrapped and waiting for dinner now. I’m interested to see how it came out.

And I wanted to slather with peach preserves as discussed here but I didn’t have any. I used orange marmalade instead. Going out on a limb here. Haha

That sounds good. Maybe better than peach preserves.
