They're not a retail outlet anymore, "Firecraft" is brand a pellet smoker now......and Firecraft.com sells that smoker and its accessories.

@cazzy - as said by @stlcharcoal; they shifted business models early last fall.  If you are looking for lump, Rockwood is now available on line direct from the company.  Regarding chunks, I haven't looked for a supplier.  Many here recommend fruitawood and hopefully others will be along.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

@stlcharcoal has chunks (and chips) available. I have a stash of Pecan and Peach from them. Quality stuff, as expected

Honestly @cazzy since Firecraft stopped shipping, everyone has pretty much switched to Cowboy and Frontier lump.
You haven’t truly lived until you’ve tried smoking meat with Cowboy lump.

I was quite surprised when I found out as well.  Obviously we did not make their operations profitable enough or they just a change in heart.   Either way, it was a strange flip of the switch.

The Amazon Effect struck them......because "free shipping" is expected now, but never "free"

What's crazy is we charge more on amazon to cover for all the fees, integrations, etc we have to have for it, yet people still pay $3 more a bag.  Lately we sell just as much there as on our site.  I dont get it .

Convenience. A couple of clicks and it’s on the way. The fewer times my card is entered on the net, the safer I feel.
This.  It’s all about convenience and trust.

The wood chunks from @stlcharcoal are quality. I have some pecan and maple from them and will definitely buy more from them when needed.

They're good guys over at  Firecraft, although I have no need for what they sell now.  Hopefully it has been a profitable move for them.
