Serious Eats recipe? Works great, we made several batches with just Hatch chiles(a combo of hot and mild) when they were at Wegmans.

I think next time I do it I'll add some chili powder and sear off the pork first. But I did love the steps 1. chop 2. toss 3. cook 4. blend done.Near San Francisco in California

Wife makes a wonderful Green Chili. It's not MEANT to be a screamer. You can ADD stuff to make it hotter. I'm a big fan of the hot carrots, but my brother in law eats the rest of that stuff, some of which is pretty toasty.
