Spatchcock Chicken and Stuff

Options
I got my courage back to cook outside when the thermometer reached 19 this afternoon. Spatchcock chicken, potatoes, and cabbage in the wood oven. Why fire up an egg when I can get it all in the oven? A benefit of cooking for two. My wife did the blackeyed peas indoors.
Browning some bacon -you’ll have to take my word for it...

My wife thought it was still too cold - but I thought it was just fine.

Everything is in the oven.

Potatoes are ready. These are seriously good: http://www.seriouseats.com/amp/recipes/2016/12/the-best-roast-potatoes-ever-recipe.html

Chicken looks good.

Cheers!

My mom always tells me I should eat blackeyes and/or cabbage on New Years day. I can't stand blackeyes and only eat cabbage when it's slaw for bbq. But your other stuff looks good.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

@Carolina Q The potatoes are a bit of trouble but they are very good. I recommend you try them.
