Headed to Nashville

Wife and I will be on Nashville Sat and Sun next weekend for NYE. Have plans for Sunday night, but if one of you area eggheads want to grab a beer or some grub Saturday night, would love to hook up.  Alternatively, any Saturday night recs for dinner and some music would be welcome.

2.5 hours north of Nashville is a very cool place to visit.....got a killer party going on there that night, lots of cool folks, starting out at the Havana Rumba, bon fire and music with a dance floor.
Oh yeah, some great apps too, with the best wine list in area.
Plus a safe place to crash, no judging.....
    Just sayin'.
Seems to me that @yukonron is inviting you to a party as his casa. From what I've read of his wine cellar I wouldn't pass that up.

@theyolksonyou, a good one for beer and burgers is thepharmacynashville.com.
The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

Agree. We actually talked about L'ville. Really like the city. Alas, yesterday was the last day to cancel our hotel and price gouging is an understatement.

Thank you for the kind words, I have a couple of bottles of some French Grenache champagne we have kept in the cellar for unique celebrations.

It is a neighborhood block party, we will be driving back from Carey, NC, for the event.

All are welcome to join of course.
Let us all make 2018 the best ever.

    Happy holidays!

Leave early for the drive over to Louisville. You don’t want to miss all the fun things along the way. That Corvette Museum is a must see.

  • @theyolksonyou man I would love to get together for a beer or a bite. Henry just called letting me know you would be in town.

Unfortunately its the combined New Years and Anniversary weekend so the week after Christmas is always a wash.

Definitely find you some hot chicken whether its Hattie B’s or Prince’s. Get there early, trust me.  Like Rajun said The Pharmacy is good as well.

Ill talk with her tonight and see if Saturday is booked up.

  • @Killit_and_grillit no worries. Keep mama happy. It was a last minute move by us just to get away for a couple of days. There will be other opportunities for sure.
  • Just be glad you won’t be here Friday when Nashville is overrun by the little blue people from a foreign state looking for a basketball game but only finding a football game. They ain’t rite

Had a fantastic meal at Etch.  Duck confit, roasted sprouts, scallops and lemon mousse.  Amy had grilled prawns, beets and berries, seared tuna and a chocolate crunch. All paired with wines and embarrassingly expensive, but on my top five to ten meals out ever.   It was a price fixe menu tonight. Would like to go back for the std menu.

It' still sofa king cold in Nashvegas!
