I was looking at Lone Star Grillz website and they have a new offering - an offset cabinet smoker.

What is the difference between an offset cabinet smoker and a regular offset in performance? I would think functionally it is the same as their regular offset except instead of the smoke chamber being cylindrical, it is a rectangular prism in shape. As far as that goes, I don't know how a vertical offset would really cook any differently - it just seems to have a smaller footprint.

Y'all enlighten me...
Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

More real estate with a smaller footprint on the vertical offset VS a regular offset. I have both, and as far as performance , once you've figured out the quirks, the performance is not a lot different, My 2 Cents

Thanks. That was my assumption - that it was more about footprint than anything else - but not having used one I wanted to ask.
