    I have a large and a small and the Kabs in both but I run with the grate. Still a fantastic addition and no problems. I have the non ss kabs and next time will get the ss. The bottoms are burned through but still work, maybe because I use the grates

    Another BIG fan of KAB here! I have one in my L & S and do not use the BGE grates below. They get regular cooks of both high and low temperatures. Some surface rust, but still strong! If they ever go bad I definitely will replace them!
