We will have a group of more than 20 here at our house for the meal.   Mix of family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and my graduate students.  We’ll have five different countries represented, much like previous years.

I don’t expect politics to come up.  It rarely does.  There are simply far more interesting and productive things to discuss.  

Enjoy the day my friends.  I know I will.
