I did the tour in Midleton a year or two ago - fantastic experience, but during the tasting I could help thinking how much more I enjoyed the Scotch...DFW - 1 LGBE & Happy to Adopt More...

I am a big fan of their redbreast line- they were selling their 21 year for 98 euros which is a great deal but didn't want to try to lug it all over.
but had a great time and stayed in the same hotel as the Irish rugby team- huge guys and hotel got a little wild after they crushed SA.
Leaving north Ireland for Amsterdam very early tomorrow.
All the steakhouses here are bragging about their Josper grills- made a good steak.

Was just in Dublin the first week of October. Our first day included Guinness, Jameson, and Teeling. All are worth doing, but Teeling was my favorite. They were the only one of the three that actually distilled on site still. Check it out if you get the chance!

Tullamore Dew. We stayed in a home less than 5 Km from that place. It was a "Man Club" favorite. Triple distilled blend of Irish Whiskey, stored in bourbon barrels.
