Picked up a Dutch oven today

Bought a Dutch oven today at a bbq festival.  Didn’t know what to make for my first cook so I just made a spaghetti casserole. Lol

One thing I love to make in my Dutch ovens is clafoutis.  Its an old French recipe with tart cherries and comes out like a tender, yet pully, chewy tart.  Highly recommended

I bought the Green Egg one.  It was $45 at some bbq festival in San Diego.

We premade a large batch of venison chili once.  We placed half in a DO to be placed on the egg, other half on a pot for the stove.  100% everyone agreed the egged one was better.  Lid off of course.

Great buy, and your cook looks awesome. Slow cooked meatballs in a spicy marinara is an awesome meal.
