NOT over the top chili...

Morning All:

Nothing against OTT chili, but I prefer chunks of meat instead of ground beef...so started with a couple hanging tender steaks that after trimming became 3 pounds of chunks...added some DP Game On rub & ready to brown...


After the DO was properly heated added a little bacon grease & browned the chunks in three batches...


Added in the various spices along with tomato sauce/paste & let it simmer for about 5 hours...


On the other Egg did a pan of cornbread & enjoyed a great meal with my much better half & some friends...
