Buffalo Bills wings

Celebrating yet another loss for by beloved Bucs, decided to make some Buffalo wings in honor of the home team. Pork rind, all purpose rub and cornstarch on the wings. Indirect at 375 for an hour, no flipping just turned. Tossed in franks Buffalo sauce and some blue cheese.

We may not have won, but these wings sure did. Thanks for looking

Pork rinds?  That sounds amazing.  I will have to try that.

I did them this way for the Super Bowl last year.  Crispiest wings I've ever made, and probably the best.  Worth the extra effort, although it's telling that I haven't attempted again it since.

You can use the pork rinds as flour and make them carbless.  Just use a food processor to dust them up.  They make extra crispy wings.

Those look amazing!  Looks like you dropped them in a fryer after egging.  Gonna try this one.  Now the Bucs need to try and win a game.  I've been a Buc fan for 25 years and my wife has been a fan since their inception.  Very difficult and frustrating, for sure.

They turn out like a fried wing, definitely a different approach. Someone on here posted  using pork rinds (too lazy to look it up (was it you redskip?), and I knew I had to try it. I've done them a couple of times like this and it's a nice variation to wings on the egg. Everyone on here posts such creative ways to cook, makes owning an egg a lot of fun to try different methods.

As for our Bucs, definitely a disappointing year so far. The defense has fallen off a cliff from last year and I'm not sure why, same personnel/scheme. Hopefully we can string together a few wins to get things going in the right direction, but playoffs are sadly out of reach (unless we win 8 of the next 10). We shall see though, Panthers and Bucs always play tough and tomorrow should be a good one.
  • This is definitely on my to-do list. Thanks for the inspiration.
