Peach Preserved Butt

Did a peach preserves butt (ala @YukonRon )last night, and still waiting for it to finish. Don't remember the size but it was a big one, at least over 9 lbs. Rubbed with BBBR cut 25% with Turbino. Covered with most of the jar of Smucker's. Probably going to put the rest in some Bush's beans (i'm too lazy to make my own!). Started right before 5 last night and held all night around 215F. Sitting at 189 right now, but I'm in no rush. The wife and boy are out of town this week, so I'm doing my version of meal prep!
Last night/today: pulled pork
Today: put a belly in Meathead's Maple Bacon cure
Tomorrow: Pepper Stout Beef (but going to try Dr. Pepper instead of beer, so Pepper Pepper Beef?)

Pulled it at 230 and let it rest for about an hour wrapped up and in the microwave. About a 22 hour cook. Let the temp creep towards 300 as the day went on.
Delicious! Highly recommend this method. For fun next time I might try apricot preserves as they're my favorite!Large BGE in Moore, OK -
Looks great - making me hungry. I've got one going on myself.
Try thinning out the apricot or peach preserves with some jalapeno juice, it ads a great flavor to the sweet. @YukonRon , is the jalapeno juice your recommendation? I can't remember if that's your thing as well or something I stumbled on myself.
