Options
put on two 8lb Butts and home made beans with hickory for smoke. Flame Boss is dialed in at 250.

    You put the beans under the pork? Nice idea - I always put mine on the side, partially covered. A few questions if you don't mind: 
    How much did the pork weigh and how long was the cook? Were the beans on the whole time? Just curious how to prevent all the bean juice from evaporating

    Put them both on at midnight, took the beans off at 2:00 then went to bed. Its 8:15 now and the Butts are at 190. They were 8.5lbs each should be done in an hour then will wrap and into cooler until lunch.
