Steakhouse Cure For The Monday Blues

So, I bought the ingredients for this meal for this past weekend but life got on the way and I found myself playing a long 18 holes instead. I had been craving a steakhouse meal, but as we all know that well executed food off the egg is better and cheaper, I decided to put together a steakhouse meal myself. I figured that Monday night was as good as any with this high 80's fall weather we have in MI, so I put together a prime N.Y. strip and creamed spinach and mushrooms.
Overcooked it a little bit as the carry over cook during the rest was a little too much, but the flavor was on point. Sorry for the fork.

That looks delicious! Amazing how fast the temp goes up after 115. We all overshoot a little on occasion. I’d tear that up.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

Man that looks great. I like how it all came together like an au poivre plus spinach.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
