    Thanks all. Growing up, my mom always had food on the table for my friends. We didn't have much, but we had an open door. Had one friend who would stop by and ask if he could make himself a sandwich even if my brother and I were out. He had even less. 

    I want my house to be that. It was fun watching them eat and enjoy themselves. Took them to the MIL house for lunch this afternoon and they out on a show there, too. She's not even a very good cook.
